The Current Future Of Liberty

Dan Gillmor is afraid for the future of liberty as he watches our "liberty being tossed overboard one law at a time" by "a secrecy-manic administration that is absolutely contemptuous of individual rights". This in response to a Washington Post article that explores the ramifications of the administration/FBI's hundredfold-increase use of national security letters to monitor the phone calls, correspondence, and financial information of people like you and me.

Scary. *Read the whole thing*, as they say.
